Notifications
What Vulnix tells you, how, and how to choose.
Vulnix tells you about three kinds of things: what your pentests found, what needs your attention (an assigned finding, a failed payment, a schedule about to run), and a few short guides while you get started. Everything shows in the bell inside Vulnix. Some of it also reaches you by email, and a few alerts can reach you as a browser notification. You choose which, per person.
The bell
Every user has a bell icon with an unread count. From the feed you can mark individual notifications read, dismiss them, or mark everything read at once. Older notifications load on demand rather than all at once. The bell is always on.
Choose what reaches you
Open Settings > Notifications. Each row is a kind of message, with a switch for email and, where it applies, one for browser notifications. Your choices are yours alone and never change anyone else's.

A changed password or a failed payment is the kind of message you would never want to miss by accident, so these two rows are locked on.
What an email contains
Emails tell you that something happened and how much (for example, a pentest finished with 2 critical and 5 medium findings), then link you into Vulnix. They never contain the findings themselves, evidence, or credentials. Open the link to see the details.
Quiet hours and limits
Getting-started tips, catch-up emails and plan-usage notices are held between 9 pm and 8 am in your own time zone (Vulnix picks it up from your browser), and you receive at most one of them a day and three a week. Pentest results, assignments, schedule reminders, security and billing emails are not held.
Browser notifications
Turn on Browser notifications in Settings > Notifications to hear the moment a pentest finishes, or proves a critical finding while it is still running, even when Vulnix is not open. It is a per-device switch: turn it on in each browser you want. Your browser asks for permission the first time. Browser notifications carry a short line of counts and a link, nothing else.
Pentest-finished emails
The email when a pentest finishes goes to whoever started it, and is on by default for every scope. You can switch it off for a scope, or add extra addresses to copy, when you set up the pentest.
Unsubscribing
Every optional email has an Unsubscribe link, and mail apps that show their own unsubscribe button work too. One click turns off that kind of email. You can switch it back on any time in Settings > Notifications. Security and billing emails have no unsubscribe link because they cannot be turned off.
If an address bounces or is reported as spam, Vulnix stops emailing it. If that happened by mistake, contact support from Getting help.
