Notifications

What Vulnix tells you, and when it also sends an email.

Vulnix keeps you informed through an in-app notification feed, and escalates a small set of events to email — the ones an in-app feed alone can't reliably reach you for.

The notification feed

Every user has a bell icon with an unread count. From the feed you can mark individual notifications read, dismiss them, or mark everything read at once — older notifications load on demand rather than all at once.

Why only some events are emailed

Most events are in-app only by design — email is reserved for the handful of cases where missing the notification would actually hurt you (a failed payment, a changed password), or where you've explicitly asked to be told (opting in to run-completion emails on a scope).

Opting into run-completion emails

Per-scope, under its configuration: turn on "notify on completion" and every run against that scope emails you when it finishes, on top of the in-app notification everyone gets by default.
